  • Time to update

    Hello Yall!

It has certainly been a while since I last updated. As you probably already know, I have been in the play Our Miss Brooks which was a success by the way, and a number of other interesting activities since I last updated. Right now, I am nearly done with school for the year  with another play brewing up (The Ransom of Red Chief) and am nearly done with Bible Quizzing for the year. We just had the local tournament for quizzing earlier this today and finished third. This weekend we are going to Archbald Ohio for the Invitationals and I hope we are going to do well. That is about it. Maybe I will update sometime again in the near future. So untill then, farewell!!!

  • stuff

There are quite a few things that happened since the last time a updated. The fair is now over, and unfortunately my market turkey didn't even place even though my turkey was the heaviest in Logan Co. Fair history. Also, we purchased three meat goats, one being mine and the others belonging to my parents. My goat is a female and is going to be used for breeding purposes, instead of meat. In other news I do not yet have my drivers license, though I have an appointment scheduled for thursday morning! I'll try to update soon about the results of my driving test.

  • Last Thursday was my last night at the Ohio Driving School, and boy am I glad. I still have to drive with an instructor to finish out drivers ed before I get my license though.

This week I found some interesting things about bananas. Bananas do not grow on trees, but instead on a pseudostem (literally meaning, “fake stem”) which grows from corms buried in the ground. Also, I found there is a variety of banana that can grow in cold climates. This variety is known as the Basjoo banana and if mulched can survive in temperatures as cold as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. The only problem I found with this banana is that its fruit is seedy and inedible. Here are some pictures

  • Drama is now done

Fortunately, My drama group picked up the pace from where we were last friday, and had a great dress rehearsal, three decent school performances, then two great public performances. After our final performance on Saturday, we cleaned up, tore down the set, and put all of our stuff away, before heading to Marmon Valley Farm for our cast party at around eleven o'clock. We then left at two-thirty after having a great time.

More recently, I just started drivers ed. which is a boring, yet necessary coarse. Also I should be getting my drivers license as soon as drivers ed. is over.
